Mineral Energy, a pharmaceutical SME founded in Abu Dhabi in 2017, pivots its product offerings around the philosophy of producing skin care products derived from all-natural raw materials for patients with highly sensitive skin.
Mineral Energy, and its flagship product Dream, an all-natural moisturizing cream for individuals with highly sensitive skin, was created by Muna Alhammadi, a pharmacist by profession. When her six-months-old son was diagnosed with eczema, she struggled to find a pharmaceutical remedy that would help treat his condition, as most skin creams on the market included harmful chemicals and irritants that would not be suitable for an infant.
After rigorous research, Muna was able to manage her son’s eczema and its symptoms successfully through the formulation of a natural skin care cream, which she would later name the Dream Moisturiser Cream.
Reflecting on how this could help countless other families, she created Mineral Energy, and patented her product through extensive support from ADDED’s Takamul innovation program.
