The SMEs Sector, part of the Department of Economic Development - Abu Dhabi, is responsible for developing an integrated SME ecosystem in collaboration with strategic partners to support SMEs in pursuing their growth path and contributing to the Emirate's aspirations. The SMEs Sector develops Abu Dhabi’s SME strategy, monitors its implementation, and drafts policy proposals related to mSMEs. The sector’s role centres on launching initiatives that aim to unlock new opportunities for SMEs and provide solutions to any potential challenges. The Sector also monitors ecosystem performance and develops SME-related studies that provide a knowledge base for the sector.
